Professional Summary

Er. Mohit Paul is working as an Assistant Professor(Senior Grade) in the Department of Computer Science and Information Technology, VIAET  in Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology & Sciences, Prayagraj (U.P.). He has contributed more than 12 years of his life in inspiring and teaching thousands of students worldwide belonging to various UG (B.Tech CSE,B.C.A, B.Sc CS) and PG(M.C.A, M.Tech, M.Sc CS) Programmes. He has also guided more than 40 UG and PG students as mentor for their final year projects and dissertations. He has acted as a Final year Project Coordinator of B.Tech (CSE) from 2017-2019 and MCA final year students from 2022-2025 . He has served as the Placement Coordinator of Department of CS & IT, VIAET and currently helping students in their career mentorship. He has delivered computer training sessions to non-teaching staff of SHUATS under Basic Computer Literacy Programme for about 2 years. His area of Research is in Web Mining and Natural Language Processing. He has also instated as an examiner of the Interbattalion Computer Competition organized by Provincial Armed Constabulary, Naini, Allahabad from 2016-2024. He has been keenly participating in various seminars, workshops and technical events organised by the Technical society of the CS & IT department,VIAET and CSI.

  • Actively contributed in organizing High-Level Political Summit on “Advancing Political Leadership for Equitable Cancer Care”, jointly organized by SHUATS, Prayagraj and the International Cancer Patient Coalition (ICPC), in association with the European Alliance for Personalized Medicine (20th – 21st February, 2025).
  • Participated in One-Week Online Faculty Development Programme on “Sustainable Resource Management: Integrating AI/ML, Geospatial Technologies and Strategies for a Resilient Future” organized by E&ICT Academy IIT Guwahati held from 17th – 21st March, 2025 in association with Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology and Sciences, Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh.
