Prof.(Dr.) Bipasha David presently working as a  Professor (Fisheries) with a long stint of 30 years of distinguished service in Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology and Sciences (SHUATS).  Her research paper fetched laurel for her as “GOLD MEDAL for YOUNG SCIENTIST” at International Transfer of Technology Initiative Workshop on Parasitology and Genotoxicity in Sustainable Aquaculture -2005 at University of Allahabad, U.P.  She has been awarded "Excellence in Teaching Award"-2022 at 4th international conference in Hybrid mode on Innovative and Current advances in Agriculture and Allied Sciences at Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla. Prof. David decorated with "SCIENTIST OF THE YEAR" 2023 award at National Seminar on Ecology vs Economic Development with special reference to the Ganga Basin (NEED-2023) at CIFRI, Prayagraj, U.P. She is a versatile speaker for Fisheries in All India  Radio, Gyan Vani (IGNOU), Allahabad Door Darshan and Lucknow Doordarshan. She is CO-PRINCIPAL INVESTIGATOR for a collaborative overseas research project among Netherland, Belgium and Govt. of INDIA. She has been invited as an EXPERT ( RESOURCE PERSON) for ENTREPRENUERSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM under ICAR SUB PLAN - 2020 for Integrated Fish and Poultry farming at G.B. PANT University of Agriculture and Technology ,Pant Nagar (Uttarakhand). She received Special Recognition from Govt. of Uttar Pradesh for extension work in Fisheries in Allahabad and Mirzappur district of U.P. in 2001. She has been awarded as Best Extension Scientist (Fisheries) by Akhil Bhartiya Lodi, Nishad, Bind, Kashyap ekta samta Mahashava, Lucknow, U.P. She is Core Committee Member of the Advisory board of Indian Biodiversity Conservation Society of India, Jhansi, U.P.
