Professional Summary

Dorcus Masih is an Assistant Professor, working at SHUATS since last 16 years, having completed her B.E. in Chemical Engineering from NIT, Raipur, she pursued her M. Tech. in Agricultural Process and Food Engineering from AAIDU, Allahabad. Presently, she is pursuing her PhD in Agricultural Process and Food Engineering from SHUATS, Prayagraj. As a faculty she has been partaking actively in both academic and co-curricular activities.

She has previously worked as a Guest Faculty in St. John’s Degree College, Agra. She joined as an Assistant Professor at AAIDU, Allahabad in 2004. She has earlier worked as a water analyst in a project entitled “Water Education & Social Action” at Betul, M.P. She has also attended a refresher course from the University of Allahabad on “Human Rights”.

Dorcus Masih, as organizing secretary, organized a National seminar on “Recent advancements in Food Processing” by Society of Food Engineers, Department of food Process Engineering, VSAET, SHIATS, in 2011. She organized a Student’s training at Food Process Training Centre, SHIATS, Allahabad, in 2012. She has also been member of organizing team in International Workshop on “Sustainable Agricultural Mechanization” jointly organized by SHUATS and Asia Institute of Technology, Bangkok, Thailand and in various other National and International Workshops and Seminars. She has also presented paper and posters in various National Seminars.
