Dr Suvartan Gautam Ranvir holds B.Tech. (2011) degree in Dairy Technology from Maharashtra Animal and Fishery Sciences University (MAFSU) Nagpur, Maharashtra. He received M. Tech (2013) and PhD (2019) degree in Dairy Chemistry from ICAR-National Dairy Research Institute Karnal, Haryana. He also served as a senior executive in Mother Dairy Fruit and Private Limited, Delhi from 2013-2015.

           For his PhD research work, he has received four times best poster awards in national and international conferences. Also he has received DuPont Nutri-scholar award (Net cash prize 75000/-); He is recipient of ICAR-SRF (2015); BARTI-SRF Fellowship; Young Scientist Award (2020); Young Research Achiever Award (2020); ICAR-Institute Fellowship for M.Tech and PhD. 

           He is currently working in the area of ultra-high temperature treated milk (UHT), Low glycemic index food; fermented milk products and encapsulation of DHA. He is advising M.Tech. and M.Sc scholar in Dairy Chemistry dicipline. He has participated in several national and international conferences and seminars. He has delivered four radio talk on clean milk production; Adulteration in milk and milk products; Health benefits of consumption of milk and milk products and Dairy Farming: An overview. Also he has delivered invited talk on “Proteolysis in UHT milk: causes and remedies” in webinar organized by Parul University, Vadodara. He has successfully completed ISO lead auditor training course and ISO internal auditor training course from Intertek India.

          He has authored of 21 research and review papers, 2 objective book, 13 book chapters, about 14 popular articles, and several conference papers and abstracts. He is serving as external examiner for various Indian state agricultural universities. He is also serving as reviewer of several journals. He is Life member of InFc, Bangalore; AFSTI, Maysure.
