Dr. Dinesh Kumar Patel obtained PhD in Pharmaceutical Science from Indian Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University (IIT-BHU) Varanasi, India. He is presently serving as an Assistant Professor at Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Faculty of Health Sciences, Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology and Sciences, Prayagraj. His research interests include importance of Natural products especially Plant secondary metabolite in Human health, Diabetes and its secondary complication, Flavonoids, Antioxidant and Phytopharmaceuticals. He has been listed in World's Top 2% Scientists by Stanford University in 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 & 2024, and published more than 170 papers in peer review Journals with good impact factor and total citations of more than 7000. He has availed partial travel grant from various International Organization to attend and present his research paper at various international scientific platform. He has also attended many conferences, seminars, symposium and Quality Improvement Programs (QIP) within country sponsored by UGC and AICTE. He has also qualified GATE exam in 2007 conducted by IIT-Kanpur. He has been a reviewer and editorial board member of various International peer reviewed Journals and has numerous Scientific Awards to his credit.

  2. My area of expertise is to understand the importance of secondary metabolites for the treatment of diabetes and related secondary problems, with the goal of improving medication generated from natural sources.
