Dr. Ankita Gautam is working as Assistant Professor in Department of Dairy Microbiology at Warner College of Dairy Technology, SHUATS. She has done her M.Sc. Microbiology (2011) and Ph.D. (2015) in Dairy Microbiology from Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology and Sciences, Allahabad U.P. Her field of specialization is in Dairy Microbiology, Food Microbiology, Fermentation Technology and Microbial isolation technology. She has published many research papers and articles in journals of national and international reputes and 4 book chapters in reputed peer reviewed books and more than 25 abstracts respectively. She is editor in 3 national level book. She also has participated and presented papers in some training programmes, National and international conferences. She also Chaired the technical session as a Key Note Speaker and Rapporteur. She has been bestowed with Young Scientist Award and Young researcher Award in the year 2019 and 2020 for her outstanding performances in the field of Dairy Microbiology. She has also participated as active member in the organizing committee of many scientific event organized by the College in the University.

She is employed in teaching and research work. She is engaged to teach different courses of Food and Dairy Microbiology. She is engaged in teaching courses of B.Tech DT, BSc FT, MSc FT, MSC DM, M.Tech DT, IDD and Ph.D students in different semesters.
