Professional Summary

A Natural Resource Management researcher with PhD in RS and GIS from SHUATS India, MTech in field of Remote sensing and GIS (Specialization in Forestry and Ecology) from Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS) and MS in Agriculture and Forestry from University of Joensuu, Finland and SLU Sweden have 15 years of working experience in field of Natural Resource Management. His research is mainly focused on Forestry, Biodiversity, agriculture water management, watershed management, ground water, water quality, climate change and city planning using geospatial technology. Apart from this he is also involved in writing research proposal and involved in completion of strategic projects. Currently, he in working as Assistant professor in SHUATS, India. While working with researchers (MTech, MSc and PhD) he oversee the research of students, and discuss the innovative idea to enhanced the research work. Research finding via peer-reviewed publication, attending workshop is his strengths as a researcher. I have guided 27 masters and 3 PhD students.

Accomplished with geospatial software like ERDAS IMAGING, QGIS, ARCGIS, ENVI, SNAP and Statistical software like R and SPSS. Experienced in satellite data processing and database creation in GIS domain. Woking with different field of science I am familiar with SWAT, HEC-RAS and FRAGSTATE for watershed modeling, flood forecasting/river rejuvenation and biodiversity analysis.
