Professional Summary

Dr.Atul Anand Mishra is presently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Processing and Food Engineering, VIAET, Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology & Sciences. He received his B.Tech in Biotechnology in 2007 at Allahabad Agricultural Institute Deemed University and his M.Tech and PhD in Food technology also from Allahabad Agricultural Institute Deemed University. He received the gold medal in his post graduation (M.Tech). He joined the Department of Processing and Food Engineering as an Assistant Professor in 2010. His researches are focused on the Food Process Engineering and Waste and By Product Utilization, Food Safety, Packaging Teachnology and Food Biotechnology. He also develops innovative solutions to technical problems in the Food Industry. Basic and applied research on development of new processes to make products safer and produce them more cost effectively. He also worked on to utilize food waste into some other valuable forms which generates the economy.He also taught the subjects related to Engineering processes and Quality control operation involved in food and dairy processing. He focuses on research of PhD,M.Tech and B.Tech students in the areas of Food process Engineering,Food Safety, Packaging Technology and Food biotechnology.
