Pramod Kumar Yadav is working as Associate Professor in the Department of Computational Biology and Bioinformatics at Sam Higginbotom University of Agriculture, Technology And Sciences, Prayagraj (U.P.), India. He has graduated in Pharmacy from C.C.S. University, Meerut, India and post graduated in IT (specialization in Bioinformatics) from Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Allahabad, India. He has qualified GATE-2003 and 2004 and got scholarship from MHRD, New Delhi during his M.Tech. study. Dr. Yadav has an experience of 18.5 years in teaching and research in the field of Bioinformatics. He has published 40 research papers in reputed international and national journals. He has edited one Book titled "Bioinformatics: Concepts and Applications" and contributed 05 chapters in several books. He is editor/reviewer of several international journals such as PLoS ONE, The Journal of Biological Databases and Curation, Applied Microbiology and Biotechnology, Genomics, Interdisciplinary Sciences: Computational Life Sciences, Current Computer Aided Drug Design, Computers in Biology and Medicine, Journal of Computational Biology, Journal of Cellular Biochemistry, Dr. Yadav has supervised 03 Ph.D., 11 M.Tech. and 07 M.Sc. students in their thesis work. At present 2 Ph.D. scholars are pursuing Doctoral research under his supervision. Furthermore, he has delivered 4 invited lectures on various topics in International/ National Conferences/seminars. He has participated in 25 conferences/ workshops/symposia/seminars. His areas of research interest include, drug target identification, molecular modeling, docking, structure based drug design, molecular dynamics simulation, in silico epitope prediction and NGS data analysis.
