Academic professional with 18 years of teaching and research experience, along with oversite and procedural techniques in field of forensic science, especially in area of forensic instrumentatation, forensic biology, forensic entomology, wildlife forensics, forensic toxicology and forensic medicine. Expertise

As a teacher, I aim to perpetuate knowledge and inspire learning. Iencourge students to engage students with the topic at hand,with me, and with each other belief that good teaching depends upon intellectual exchange. I believe in flexible manner of instruction, responsive to the unique atmosphere of a class. In conducting either a large lecture or small seminar, I am well aware of students diffrent experiences and tempraments in hope of developing strengths while ameliorating their weakness.

I engage, challenge and inspire growth in my students which is not limited to classroom only. I worked with over 120 post graduates students as their research mentor and supervising 11 students for their Ph.D work. It my goal to share with students the awe and excitement as the dedication and hard work that come along with using forensic research tools to solve problems. My research work is mainy related to forensic aspects of diatoms, food adulteration and toxicological which also incorporates various instrumental techniques for sample analysis.
