Professional Summary
Dr.Anisha Verma completed her B. Sc. Home Science in the year 2000, M.Sc. in Food Nutrition and Dietetics in the year 2002 and Ph.D . in Foods and Nutrition in the year 2006 from SHIATS, Allahabad. She qualified UP.SLET ( UGC) and ICAR NET in Home Science in the year 2004 . She has completed Three Months Dietetic Internship from AIIMS, New Delhi in the year 2003. Presently she is working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Food Nutrition and Public Health, Ethelind College of Home Science, Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology and Sciences, Prayagraj since 2006.
She has 94 publications in various national and international journals and guided 56 M.Sc. Thesis as advisor and 24 as co-advisor. She has also guided 4 Ph.D. thesis as advisor and 4 as co-advisor. She has organized one National Conference, one National Workshop and two training programmes. She attended two Summer School/ Orientation program, 4 training programs and workshop. She participated in 37 national and international conferences, Seminars and symposia and presented 6 oral and 12 poster research papers at various National and International conferences, Seminars and Workshops. She has completed two project as PI and one projects as Co-PI. She has been Editorial board member of Food Science Research journal, Hind Agri- Horticultural Society. Muzffarnagar, U.P India and Journal of the Kalash Science, Prayagraj, U.P. India. She is life member of Home Science Association of India and Nutrition Society of India and Fellow of Hind Agri- Horticultural Society (FHAS) India.
Along with her academic accomplishments in the past 14 years at SHUATS she has also shouldered other responsibilities at university level Assistant Director Student Welfare Committee, Co-coordinator IPC , Programme Officer National Service Scheme( NSS) Unit and at College level that included Co-coordinator of Course curriculum committee, Students College Registration committee and examination committee (evaluation room in charge)of ECHS. She was also involved as a core faculty in the project on experiential learning entitled “Food Processing and Product Development” and and as a Co-Coordinator of COE under Nutri Farm scheme (A state government scheme- For value addition and product development from maize and pearl millets) - sanctioned by state government (U.P.).
