Professional Summary

Dr. Poonam Singh joined as Assistant Professor in the Department of Molecular and Cellular Engineering, Jacob School of Bioengineering & Biotechnology on 23rd August, 2006. She has been awarded Ph.D. Biotechnology Degree (in August, 2009) and M.Tech. Biotechnology Degree (in June, 2011). She had a 10 years research experience, having 23 research publications in National and International Journals. She has supervised more than 25 undergraduate & 22 post graduate dissertations and presently guiding 10 PhD students. She has attended 29 conferences/workshops/symposia/seminars/winter school/orientation programs. She has 6 nucleotide accession numbers in NCBI and written a book chapter published by international publisher (Wiley & Sons). She has been appointed as member of discipline committee of JSBB (2010 to till date), member of Antiragging cell (2010 to till date), she is representing the department as a member of athletic committee for the university (2010 - Till date), member of Examination Committee of the School (for the session 2015-2016).
